Final projects HAS Den Bosch University of applied science
Students of HAS Den Bosch university of applied science graduate in a professional setting. They are literally going to ‘put into practice’ knowledge they have acquired during their studies. Companies with a research question have provided HAS KennisTransfer with an assignment. A project team, consisting of students under the supervision of a HAS Den Bosch lecturer or a HAS KennisTransfer consultant, subsequently starts work on this assignment.
Because as a company you pay for the final result, we practise a professional approach. Under expert supervision students take their first steps in their professional career.
Distiction between internship and final project
A final project is not the same as an internship. In case of an internship, the student himself actively looks for a place. The student’s home base is on location at the internship company. Here he comes into contact with all aspects of the company and at the same time carries out an assignment. Necessary supervision is provided by the internship company. Internships are coordinated from HAS Den Bosch university of applied science, which bears no responsibility for the result delivered.
Final projects, or in other words: business assignments, have a different structure. The customer pays for the project result and the expertise and time required for this of one or more consultants. Of course, educational supervision remains the responsibility of HAS Den Bosch and is financed from educational resources (20 hours per student). The project team works as external consultants for the customer. The place depends on the type of activities and can therefore be both at HAS Den Bosch and at the company or on another location.
(Company) Courses
Organizations that develop purposefully have a need for people that grow along with them. Courses and training are essential in this. At HAS KennisTransfer we like to think along with the development questions of both course participants and those of the organization.
To respond to development questions flexibly we offer various forms of courses. Therefore, we offer courses with long and short enrolment periods, varying in duration from some weeks to more than one year. It is possible to deepen your technical knowledge, develop personal skills or acquire your HBO (Higher Vocational Education) diploma. Our In- Company training courses offer all desired tailor-made possibilities (content, form, material, location, etc).
In our course methods a choice can be made for a combination of contact hours and distance learning. Coaching and supervision can be deployed as desired.
Food
For companies involved in the production and marketing of foodstuffs, HAS KennisTransfer supplies a whole range of services. Amongst other things, we carry out projects in the field of market research, food design, concept and product development, process technology, quality control and food safety (ISO, HACCP, BRC, IFS).
We are also at home in process optimization, residue stream valorisation, energy and water management, environmental care, logistics, distribution and business organization. We have at our disposal an extensive offer of courses for anybody who wants to acquire the knowledge of the food sector.
Animals
