During this press conference, it became clear that the current measures for hbo education will remain in force for the time being, until 15 March. This means that we will continue to offer online education with the exception of planned activities for students with specific needs ( study+, coaching students with difficulties and international students), practical education and exams for all students.

The company training programmes, courses and workshops for professionals will be held entirely online, or will be postponed. For company training programmes, courses and workshops given at the client's premises, we will follow the measures that apply at the client's premises

All employees, students and course participants have been personally informed about the new situation.

HAS University of Applied Sciences and corona measures

The health of students, staff and visitors is very important for HAS University of Applied Sciences, that is why we are closely monitoring developments related to coronavirus. We are following the guidelines and instructions from the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and Environmental Protection (RIVM), the GGD Municipal Health Service, the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs relating to the coronavirus. Of course, HAS University is prepared for various scenarios so that we can take appropriate action if we receive guidelines and instructions to do so.

With the protocol 'Working and studying responsibly at HAS University of Applied Sciences' we create space for a safe togetherness at the HAS. Students, staff, and visitors are urged to adhere to the measures and instructions in this protocol (shared upon visit). It is also mandatory to wear a mouth mask within the HAS buildings.

We are sending regular updates to students and employees via our internal communication channels and a special page on our intranet. This page is constantly updated as new facts become known.
