On 21 April 2021 HAS Univerisity of Applied Sciences organized a Meet & Greet with Romanian universities and partners to facilitate the bilateral dialogue.

The focus

We focused on challenges and opportunities for the educational sector. Starting from the bigger picture of how our cities will look in 2023 towards the readiness of the professional sector to understand and cope with new challenges.

  • 10:00 hr. - 45 minutes Introduction
    Welcome and introduction of the event and the participants (10 min) by Mr. A.Veldhuizen, Agricultural counsellor, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and M. de Bakker, teaching professor at HAS University of Applied Sciences.

    What data is needed for challenges like emission, climate change and wellbeing? How can we organize this?

  • 11:30 hr. - 30 minutes Lecture 2
    Presentation Good Practices: Importance of good governance Public Space by P. van der Donk, MSc
    Combine the stakeholders’ needs and ambitions together with management requirements to shape the Green Public Space, dealing with challenges and opportunities.

  • 20 minutes following by 10 minutes Q&A

  • 12:00 hr. - 10 minutes Presentation
    HAS University of Sciences approach education students (BSc) public space management. Curricula and practical training program. Working together with work field and industry. How is it organized and how does it work. Mrs. M. Baeten and Mrs. E. Vennekens.

  • 12:10 hr. - 10 minutes Presentation
    Presentation by Mr. Leon Smet, Mrs. Florentina Nanu and student Ms. Adelina Scorobete.
